Key Financial Position

A seasoned financial expert is required to oversee the financial operations of our organization. This key role ensures accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning.

This position plays a vital part in managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and supporting business decisions to drive profitability and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop, monitor, and update budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
    • Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Accounting and Reporting
    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
    • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
    • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
  • Compliance and Audit
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
    • Coordinate with external auditors for regular audits and financial reviews.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams.
    • Develop team skills and improve departmental efficiency.
  • Strategic Financial Support
    • Provide insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
    • Evaluate financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Cash Flow and Treasury Management
    • Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
    • Oversee investments, banking relationships, and funding arrangements.
Requirements
  • 5+ years in bookkeeping/accounting.
  • 2+ years in management budgeting and projections.
  • Proven track record in managerial or controller positions.
  • Experience in cashflow management.
Skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks online, Quickbooks desktop).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
