Financial Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Recordkeeping:
    • Maintain accurate general ledger entries, reconcile accounts payable and receivable, manage bank and credit card reconciliations
    • Organize and analyze financial data for reporting purposes
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports
    • Assist in creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders
  • Tax Preparation and Compliance:
    • Organize financial data and prepare documentation for external accountants to assist with tax return preparation
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, filing necessary forms
  • Accounts Management:
    • Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely billing and collections
    • Monitor and manage payroll, expense reimbursements, and other financial obligations
  • Auditing and Internal Controls:
    • Provide accurate financial data and supporting documents to support auditing processes
    • Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Support the preparation of company budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
    • Provide analysis and insights to management regarding financial performance and areas for improvement
