The mission is to make reading accessible to everyone.

We provide text-to-speech products that turn any written content into audio, helping people read faster and more efficiently. Our product suite includes an iOS app, Android App, Mac App, Chrome Extension, and Web App.

We're looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our team and help us support the growing user base and develop new features.

This role requires someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, and has experience building great user experiences. We offer a flat organization where anyone can become a leader by showing excellent technical skills and delivering results consistently.

Our interview process involves several technical interviews, which we aim to complete within 1 week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions
  • Ship production code for the iOS app
  • Work with a dedicated product team
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture

Requirements:

  • Experience working on scalable products
  • Track record of successfully shipping multiple products from inception to decent traction
  • Customer obsession and focus on providing a great user experience
  • Product thinking and ability to make thoughtful decisions about product evolution
  • Speed and ability to work quickly to generate ideas and decide what to ship now and what needs time
  • Focus and ability to engage or be heads down when needed
  • Technical skills in Swift, SwiftUI, Multithreading, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git
