Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Assist chefs and cooks with tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, and preparing food ingredients according to recipe specifications.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment by cleaning surfaces, equipment, and utensils, and following established cleaning schedules and safety protocols.
  • Dishwashing: Wash, dry, and store dishes and kitchenware in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assisting with Cooking: Help with basic cooking tasks such as stirring, straining, and preparing simple dishes under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
  • Stock Management: Assist with sorting, storing, and distributing ingredients, as well as restocking supplies in a timely and organized manner.
  • Other Tasks: Perform various duties as needed, including unloading food deliveries, packing takeout orders, and setting up dining areas.
