Key Responsibilities
Customer Supply Chain Lead Role OverviewThis position is responsible for leading the customer supply chain experience, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction, optimize supply chain processes, and ensure seamless product delivery.
The successful candidate will drive efficiency, consistency, and satisfaction across the supply chain to meet customer needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end customer supply chain experience and acting as the voice of the customers to support the achievement of the Preferred Supplier of Choice status.
- Leading business planning or tactical calls with customers; managing supply chain programs, customer calls, replenishment planning, and integration of 3PL requirements.
- Serving as the primary contact for key customers on supply chain matters; building and maintaining strong customer relationships to understand business needs and expectations.
The Customer Supply Chain Lead drives efficiency, consistency, and satisfaction across the supply chain to meet customer needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Customer Engagement & Trade Service Level: benchmark best practices within the region related to OTC, warehousing, inventory, transport, quality, and information systems.
- Order Fulfillment/Replenishment Planning & Service Coordination: oversee order-to-delivery, monitor stock and out-of-stock risks, provide input to demand forecasts, coordinate with internal departments to align on customer needs, and ensure compliance on NPD and promo SKU plans.
- Distribution & Warehouse Operation: assess distributor warehousing and distribution capabilities, develop warehousing, inventory, fleet management, and supply chain infrastructure; review RTM for cost, quality, and service.
The Customer Supply Chain Lead facilitates cross-department communication to share customer insights and resolve disruptions; collaborates with marketing and sales on customer-facing strategies.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Customer Service, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Licensed Customs Broker.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, importation, logistics, or related field in a customer-focused role in FMCG.
- Knowledge of supply chain systems, processes, and best practices; proficiency in SCM software and tools.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships; strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; adaptable and resilient; data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
