Financial Planning Assistant Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our financial planning department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our financial advisors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and lodging forms and documentation for superannuation, investments, insurance, and other financial products as directed by senior staff
  • Tracking implementation tasks and following up on outstanding items to ensure timely completion
  • Managing internal databases and updating client records in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Drafting emails and client correspondence for review and approval by senior staff
  • Assisting with report generation and other general administrative tasks as required
  • Liaising with external providers or platforms via email or phone when necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance-related business, completing financial and other administrative tasks
  • A background in finance, lending, or a related field is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with loan customers and internal stakeholders
  • Prior experience with paraplanning in Australia is an advantage
