Job Opportunity

The role of Senior Accountant plays a pivotal part in ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and accounts receivable reporting for the finance department.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and distribute precise customer invoices based on sales orders, incorporating volume-based billing metrics.
  2. Generate and issue credit notes in accordance with organizational policies.
  3. Record and reconcile incoming customer payments in a timely manner.
  4. Review customer agreements to ensure billing schedules align with contract terms.
  5. Support revenue recognition reviews and guarantee compliance with accounting standards.
  6. Regularly analyze accounts receivable aging reports to proactively address collection risks.
  7. Collaborate with Account Management teams to resolve client billing or payment issues.
  8. Prepare reports related to accounts receivable, collections, and invoicing for both finance and senior leadership.
  9. Assist in designing and maintaining internal processes related to billing, cash collection, and bad debt tracking.
  10. Provide support for month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, and ad hoc accounting projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS, fintech, or tech company.
  2. Advanced experience in Netsuite and MS Excel.
  3. Experience in managing multi-currency, multi-entity, and consolidated financial reporting.
  4. Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and billing best practices.
  5. Familiarity with internal controls frameworks (e.g., COSO) and financial compliance standards.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  7. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across teams and geographies.
  8. Experience with ERP/accounting systems and comfort with fast-moving environments.
