IT Infrastructure ExpertiseWe are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing IT infrastructure.This role involves overseeing enterprise IT systems' reliability, security, and performance. The successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvements and modernisation efforts.Main Responsibilities
  • Windows Server Management: Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP.
  • Microsoft 365 Services Administration: Oversee and administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Entra ID Configuration: Configure and manage Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) for identity and access management.
  • Endpoint Security: Implement and manage Microsoft Defender for endpoint, identity, and cloud security.
  • Azure Cloud Infrastructure: Support and maintain cloud infrastructure within Azure, including virtual machines, networking, and security configurations.
  • Security Best Practices: Assist in implementing security best practices, vulnerability management, and patching strategies.
  • Disaster Recovery: Ensure regular backups and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.
  • Process Automation: Automate IT processes using PowerShell, Azure Automation, and other scripting tools.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and optimisation of IT infrastructure and cloud resources.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the IT Infrastructure Manager and other teams to support business objectives.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of IT infrastructure engineering experience, focusing on Microsoft technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments.
  • Experience with Intune for device and application management.
  • Familiarity with security tools like Microsoft Defender and compliance solutions like Purview.
  • Exposure to scripting and automation using PowerShell.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
