Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cash Handling Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payments, operate point-of-sale systems, and handle customer transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records, balance the cash register, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Perform tasks such as restocking shelves, handling returns, and processing exchanges.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, stay up-to-date on promotions and pricing, and make recommendations to customers.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
  • A strong foundation in basic math, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in retail, preferably in a cashiering or sales role, with proficiency in operating point-of-sale systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide top-notch customer service.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar industry, with a proven track record of success and growth.
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and security standards, with a focus on delivering results-oriented solutions.
