Job Description\

The role of a remote auditor involves executing inspections using the SGS QiiQ technology, ensuring full compliance with inspection rules applicable to TFS inspections in line with the Inspection Job Order (IJO), Initial Assessment Form (IAF), Quality System procedures and/or any other applicable document/manual related to inspection execution and reporting.

  • Execute remote inspections using the SGS QiiQ technology.\
  • Ensure full compliance with inspection rules applicable to TFS inspections in line with the Inspection Job Order (IJO), Initial Assessment Form (IAF), Quality System procedures and/or any other applicable document/manual related to inspection execution and reporting.\
  • Support the PCA team.\
  • Conduct inspections efficiently upon request from IC coordinators or PCA analysts and verify that all information provided for inspection execution is complete.\
  • Comply with inspectors' manuals, contract instructions, IAFs, and IJOs for inspection execution.\
  • Report inspection results using standard TFS Inspection Report forms.\
  • Submit inspection reports on time according to deadlines provided by KPIs.\
  • Report any risks detected during the inspection process in accordance with risk detection guidelines provided by IC management.\
  • Carefully use tools and materials provided by the company for inspection execution.\
  • Report any deviations from standard procedures defined in inspector's manuals, IJOs, IAFs, SGS policies, SGS ethical codes, and any other mandatory documents applicable to TFS.\
  • Support PCA operations in promoting remote inspections.\
  • Perform other remote inspection-related tasks assigned by local TFS offices.\
  • Educational / Professional Qualifications & Experience:\
    • \
    • University degree required.\
    • Minimum 2 years' experience executing inspections.\
    • Knowledge of specific product industries or technician/professional levels is an advantage.\
    • Decisive, assertive, results-oriented, and customer-focused.\
    • Good communication skills.\
    • Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Fookien. Fluency in other languages is an advantage.\
    • Applies judgment and acts according to SGS standards of ethics and integrity.\
    • Health, Safety, and Environment trainings are required if not covered in Educational & Professional Qualifications.\
    • PSI and PCA inspections, as well as differences between the two, require training.\
    • Documents used for inspection (IJO, IR, IAF, PIR, PL, PF) and how each is used require training.\
    • Country Instructions and differences between these require training.\
    • Inspection Manual / IVP Business Rules Section 7 Inspection (inspection scope, sampling plan, photos, product labeling, container sealing, calibration, security ...) requires training.\
    • Inspection Reporting (expiry date, shelf life, discrepancies, due date to send reports and photos ...) requires training.\
    • Inspector's Course requires training.\
    • SGS QiiQ technology requires training.\
