Job Title: Data Insights Specialist

  • Data Insights Specialist required to build and refine data feeds, transform data into models, and ensure high availability and reliability for business use.

We are seeking an experienced professional with 2-5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and expertise in SQL and Python, knowledge of BI tools, experience modeling data and creating transformation pipelines, worked with cloud-based data warehouses, demonstrated experience collaborating and supporting non-technical users, autonomous, reliable, and great communication skills, and comfortable working with remote teams.

Responsibilities
  • Write data feeds to collect data from external systems
  • Transform data into more information-rich data models
  • Maintain high availability and reliability of data assets
  • Create datasets for statistical or advanced analysis
  • Document processes and data structures for maintainability and usability
  • Develop visualizations and interactive reports
  • Ensure security and privacy management
  • Support business users using our data and platform
  • Collaborate with other teams in scrums and ideation sessions

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of big data databases and engineering in Python, with a focus on testable accuracy, observable performance, and sound design.

Requirements
  • 2-5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering
  • Extensive experience and expertise in SQL and Python
  • Knowledge of BI tools and experience modeling data
  • Experience with cloud-based data warehouses
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating and supporting non-technical users
