Remote Content Developer

We're seeking a skilled content developer to create high-quality written materials for college applications.

This role plays a significant part in developing and enhancing written content, providing detailed feedback, and emphasizing clarity, style, and structure.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with essay writing, prompt-based narrative writing, and other forms of creative nonfiction.

  • Responsibilities include:
  • Writing and Editing: Brainstorm ideas, provide feedback to students, and edit essays to fix grammar, clarity, style, flow, structure, and word count.
  • Research: Conduct research on various topics to strengthen student work.
  • Collaboration: Assist team members with drafting, brainstorming, augmenting, and reviewing assignments.
  • Administration and Logistics: Manage administrative tasks associated with assignments, including communication with team members and organizing completed assignments.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional English verbal and written skills with a strong grip on grammar.
  • Graduated from a 4-year degree program in English, Literature, Journalism, Education, or related fields.
  • Experience working in education consulting is preferred but not required.
  • Portfolio with a minimum of three written samples (one creative piece and one research sample are encouraged).
  • Ability to edit and write skillfully without AI tools.
