Unlocking Business Insights: A Data Analyst Role

Job Opportunity

We seek an exceptional data analyst to support our investment team in analyzing startup databases, creating strategic dashboards, and streamlining reporting processes. As a key member of our global team, you will identify early-stage investment opportunities, track industry trends, and contribute to research efforts for new markets, sectors, and technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial metrics and database information to discover growth opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends, deal activity, and portfolio performance to inform business decisions.
  • Support market research initiatives for emerging markets, sectors, and technologies.
  • Develop data visualization tools and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and market developments.
  • Maintain and enhance internal databases containing company information, contacts, and industry benchmarks.
  • Automate routine data tasks using Excel, SQL, or lightweight scripting languages.
  • Assist in preparing reports, visualizations, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with associates and partners to deliver actionable recommendations based on data insights.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or consulting.
  • Prior experience in startups or venture capital firms is highly valued; a demonstrated interest is advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in Python or R programming languages.
  • SQL knowledge for querying structured datasets.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
