Financial Operations Specialist

The Part-time Financial Operations Specialist role is a key position responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate billing and payment processing, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Billing & Invoicing: Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on time, ensure compliance with company policies and tax regulations, and maintain proper documentation of all billing records.
  • Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Accounts Receivable: Process customer payments, monitor accounts for delayed payments, and prepare aging reports.
  • Debt Follow-Up: Contact clients with overdue invoices via phone or official letters, maintain a log of collection activities, and collaborate with sales teams on complex accounts.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, ledgers, and sub-ledgers, identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
  • Solid understanding of financial processes and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
