Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our billing and revenue cycle management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting medical claims to insurance companies, maintaining compliance with industry-specific guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies while ensuring compliance with CPT, ICD-10, and insurance billing guidelines.
  • Post payments from insurance companies and patients into the EMR system, ensuring accurate and timely revenue collection.
  • Reconcile patient accounts and identify discrepancies or payment issues, resolving them efficiently.
  • Follow up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims with insurance companies, communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for accuracy and resolve discrepancies, upholding high standards of quality.
  • Maintain an organized accounts receivable system, generating regular aging reports to track revenue streams.
  • Collaborate closely with the administrative team to ensure seamless revenue collection and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or claims management, demonstrating expertise in industry-specific software and systems.
  • Familiarity with Prompt EMR and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
