About Our Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Development Engineer to play a critical role in driving quality across our software development lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining quality as meeting or exceeding customer expectations. This includes generating reports of test results and errors detected, defining priorities and planning tests of system requirements, documenting functionalities of systems in both the quality control process and the software development cycle, communicating issues with the appropriate level of urgency, and writing automated test scripts that enable speed of testing and software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Result Reporting: Generate detailed reports of test results and errors detected to ensure timely identification and resolution of issues.
  • Prioritization and Planning: Define priorities and plan tests of system requirements to ensure thorough coverage and efficient resource allocation.
  • Documentation: Document the functionalities of systems in both the quality control process and the software development cycle to maintain accuracy and consistency.
  • Issue Communication: Communicate issues with the appropriate level of urgency to ensure prompt attention and resolution.
  • Automated Testing: Write automated test scripts that enable speed of testing and software delivery, reducing manual testing efforts and improving overall efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in testing, building, or supporting web applications.
  • Experience in testing APIs and client applications.
  • Familiarity with using ticketing systems such as Jira.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to detect and propose improvements in both the quality control process and the software development cycle.
