Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tax Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in tax-related compliance activities, data analysis, and financial reporting.

The successful candidate will support the 3M Group of Companies in the Asia Pacific Region by analyzing discrepancies between SAP and OneSource (OTD) tax calculation relative to various data elements, validating against source documents. They will also analyze data for appropriate tax technical treatment, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership and initiative of assigned tasks, collaborate with multiple teams, and lead the team in tax compliance, governance or adhoc/special projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support tax-related compliance activities, including analyzing discrepancies between SAP and OneSource (OTD) tax calculation.
  • Analyze data for appropriate tax technical treatment, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Prepare data analytics for reporting to Tax organization, interdependent processes and other relevant decision-makers when requested.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams, and/or lead the team in tax compliance, governance or adhoc/special projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor level university/college degree or higher in Tax or accounting preferred.
  • Minimum of 0-1 year relevant working experience normally required.
  • Basic knowledge of theories/concepts and practices of Tax.
  • Ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
