About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Engineering Manager to lead our team of web engineers. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality web applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for defining and implementing technical strategies, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring that our web applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of web engineers in the development and delivery of web applications
  • Define and implement technical strategies to drive business growth and improve customer experience
  • Mentor junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of web applications
  • Ensure that web applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in web development, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies
  • Excellent leadership skills, with experience in leading high-performing teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel occasionally for company events
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications would be an advantage:

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of REST API design and development
  • Experience with performance engineering and security
