Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to manage our company's financial transactions and provide valuable financial insights to support business decisions. This role is critical in ensuring accuracy in accounting records and maintaining compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions for real estate properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Utilize specialized software to manage property accounting, tenant ledgers, rent payments, owner statements, and property reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Process monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
  • Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Real Estate Accounting.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AppFolio and QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
