About the Role

Thumbtack is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance team. As a key partner, you will help drive business growth by providing thought leadership and decision support.

This role involves managing and growing the business through data-driven insights. You will work closely with various leaders to forecast financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategic cost management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive monthly, annual forecasts and budgets, highlighting insightful variance analysis and implications.
  • Forecast accurately, understanding what, where, and why we spend.
  • Evaluate trade-offs and financial sensitivities leading to better decision-making and scenario planning.
  • Provide front-line support for ad-hoc financial analysis requests and inquiries.
  • Develop efficiency metrics to inform growth and set financial context.
  • Establish trusting relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant financial analysis work experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or management consulting.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
