Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all purchases have supporting documentation prior to processing invoices
  • Collaborating with Supply Chain and Warehouses to resolve discrepancies
  • Accurately and timely recording supplier invoices
  • Analyzing and reconciling suppliers' statements of accounts and following up on issues promptly
  • Accruing expenses for unpaid invoices by month-end close
  • Verifying staff claims and credit card receipts against the Global Authorization Matrix before processing
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet schedules for Accounts Payable
  • Maintaining proper filing and safekeeping of documents and transactional data for audits
  • Assisting with confirmations from third-party suppliers
  • Supporting auditors on any audit queries

Requirements include:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Good understanding of IFRS accounting standards
  • Familiarity with local Philippines regulations and tax
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Prior knowledge of SAP ERP is an added advantage
  • Strong analytical, independent, and meticulous skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a remote work environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a team player
