The Global Framework Compliance function at Northern Trust plays a critical role in ensuring consistent application of the framework and its minimum standards across all regions and local compliance partners.

The role will be responsible for supporting the Compliance Risk Assessment program, including planning activities, reporting, stakeholder management, and other related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation and maintenance of minimum standards for the Risk & Compliance function.
  • Conduct annual compliance risk assessments and monitor compliance with these standards.
  • Deliver reporting on the compliance risks posed by applicable requirements.
  • Work closely with regional and local compliance partners to ensure consistent application of the framework.

Requirements:

  • Advanced analytical skills, with experience in organizing, summarizing and managing a large amount of data and translating them into a report with great attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Office 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, and Teams to efficiently perform analyses and communicate results to various stakeholders.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to present relevant information to various stakeholders, including Senior Management.
  • Strong organizational skills required to manage competing priorities from a variety of compliance related tasks and/or activities assigned.
