Context: Part of Pearson School Qualifications, the Assessment division combines excellence in assessment with outstanding customer experience. The Assessment division has end-to-end responsibility for delivering on-time, accurate results of high stakes UK and international qualifications to our learners and first-class customer service to all our customers.

Position Summary: We are looking for an organised and proactive Delivery Coordinator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of services to learners and schools. This individual will be responsible for coordinating the logistics of delivery operations end-to-end, building and managing exam schedules, and maintaining clear communication with both internal teams and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Working to tight, immoveable deadlines
  2. Coordinate, create and manage exam schedules
  3. Quality checking access arrangements (extra time, rest breaks, etc.)
  4. Quality checking content
  5. Maintain records of delivery activities, including tracking all set up activity and working with the team to resolve any issues that may arise.
  6. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers to ensure clarity and satisfaction in the delivery process.
  7. Review and update delivery procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  8. Assist in the preparation and distribution of delivery documentation.
  9. Support the delivery team by providing administrative assistance and resolving logistical challenges
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all delivery operations.
  11. Support the real-time delivery of student exams
  12. Influencing and working closely with Assessment Associates and internal stakeholders
  13. Simultaneously managing tasks for multiple examination series
  14. Supporting invigilator set up and onboarding processes
  15. Managing invigilator payments and timesheets
  16. Undertaking any further tasks necessary to deliver key objectives as required. The post-holder is expected to demonstrate a flexible approach to the role.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in a similar service delivery role
  2. Strong attention to detail
  3. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Proficiency in using delivery management software and other relevant tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing service delivery

Working Pattern:

  1. 37.5 hour core working week
  2. Overtime is available
  3. Flexible working pattern available
  4. During peak times of activity, there are restrictions on leave
  5. Some weekend work may be required
