This role will also manage the contract life cycle, from negotiations through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Risk Identification: Identify, assess, and prioritize procurement risks to the organization's assets, reputation, and stakeholder value.
  2. Risk Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement procurement risk management frameworks and strategies in line with industry best practices.
  3. Risk Exposure Analysis: Monitor and report on procurement risk exposure, providing timely updates and recommendations.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to ensure risk management practices are embedded in all business processes.

Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:

  1. Policy Development: Identify procurement compliance policies, procedures, and programs to adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  2. Compliance Audits and Assessments: Conduct regular procurement compliance assessments, audits, and risk assessments to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  3. Industry Research: Stay current with industry regulations and emerging compliance trends; provide guidance on compliance matters across the organization.
  4. Regulatory Agency Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and facilitate any audits or inspections.

Contract Management and Execution:

  1. Contract Preparation: Oversee the procurement contract management process, including negotiation, drafting, review, and execution of contracts.
  2. Contract Compliance: Ensure that procurement contracts comply with organizational policies and applicable laws, minimizing legal risks.
  3. Category Support: Provide guidance and support to Category Management Department in contract-related matters to optimize business opportunities and minimize risks.
  4. Document Management System: Maintain an organized repository for all procurement contracts and related documents to facilitate easy access and retrieval.

Reporting and Documentation:

  1. Process Map: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of procurement risk management and compliance processes.
  2. Stakeholder Updates: Prepare and present reports to management and stakeholders on procurement risk assessments, compliance status, and contract management activities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Management, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, and contract management.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and contract law.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex issues, develop solutions, and drive project execution.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with risk management and compliance software tools.
