Product Solutions Designer Role Overview

This role is responsible for the development and delivery of new products and services, as well as improvements to existing ones. As a Product Solutions Designer, you will lead the product design and development team, creating processes and mechanisms to support them in their work.

Responsibilities
  • Manage cross-functional product development and delivery teams, including engineers, technologists, and representatives from marketing, finance, and quality assurance teams.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to develop a deeper understanding of customer needs through research, reviewing data and analytics, A/B testing, and direct communication with customers.
  • Facilitate product specifications and user stories, and define the customer experience through mock-ups and wireframes.
  • Collaborate with Technology Leads/Managers and other engineers to agree on working architecture and present relative trade-offs to certain approaches.
  • Determine edge case scenarios and proper handling on the customer side in collaboration with Test Leads and Managers.
  • Develop schedules for each phase of the development program, monitor progress against targets, and set up reviews at each stage to ensure the program meets its objectives.
  • Liaise with senior management to agree strategic development objectives and gain approval for projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong technical background, preferably with the ability to read source code.
  • Previous experience in product and software development, design, or digital marketing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and deliver successful results.
  • Experience in working within multidisciplinary teams to meet strategic objectives.
  • Strong background in process and business operations.
Additional Information
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Initial engagement: 6 months subject to performance evaluation for renewal.
