Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger maintenance, ensuring timely preparation of financial statements such as income statements and balance sheets.
    • Perform comprehensive bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Payroll Processing:
    • Process client payroll using industry-leading tools like Gusto, ADP, or other payroll systems, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Track and report employee benefits, deductions, and tax withholdings.
  • Tax Compliance Support:
    • Prepare and submit sales tax filings and corporate tax documentation in adherence to U.S. federal and state regulations.
    • Support year-end tax preparation in collaboration with clients' certified public accountants (CPAs).
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable:
    • Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment and receipt of funds.
    • Process invoices, payments, and monitor cash flow to ensure organizational liquidity.
  • Client Communication:
    • Collaborate with U.S.-based accounting firms to gather and verify financial and payroll information, providing timely updates and support.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify and suggest improvements to enhance accounting and payroll workflows, driving efficiency and productivity.
