Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to join our team at The Hospital @ Maayo. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong financial management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Planning and Analysis
  2. Accounting and Financial Reporting
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting
  4. Cash Management and Banking
  5. Regulatory Compliance

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. They should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Accounting or similar degrees / Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • An advantage if active in extracurricular activities and belongs to the top 10% of the graduating class.
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience; knowledge in AP, AR, general ledger & government & legal requirements; knowledge in latest financial reporting standards.
  • Preferably with accounting experience working in a hospital or medical facility.
  • Having worked in a PEZA-registered enterprise is an advantage.
  • Computer Skills; ERP, word processing, spreadsheets & other accounting programs.
  • Excellent People Skills & Basic Time Management Skills.
  • Good in both verbal & written English Communication.
