  • Budgeting: Create the annual operating budget for hotels and provide analytical support during budget reviews to identify cost-saving opportunities for department heads.
  • Forecasting: Distribute outlook and forecast information to department heads to enable informed decision-making.
  • Account Reconciliation: Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis.
  • Cash Flow Management: Maximize cash flow performance through prudent inventory controls, minimizing excessive supply, and optimizing wastage avoidance.
  • Cost-Benefit Analysis: Assist and lead cost-benefit analysis on operating expenditures, such as repair or replacement decisions.
  • Debt-Equity Ratio: Maintain a strict adherence to the 70/30 debt-equity ratio.
  • Audit Support: Liaise with internal and external auditors on audit matters and ensure full compliance with recommendations.
  • Year-End Closing: Oversee year-end closing and preparation of year-end financial statements.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: College graduate with an Accounting or Management Accounting background, or equivalent.
  • Professional Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are advantageous.
  • Work Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as an Accountant.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, such as SAP and Sun system.
  • Computer Literacy: Strong skills in MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws, and regulations; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
