We are seeking an experienced Accounting Operations Director to oversee the daily operations of our accounting department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all accounting functions, including:

  • Month-end and year-end closing processes

  • Accounts payable and receivable management

  • Cash receipts and disbursements

  • General ledger maintenance and analysis

  • Payroll and utilities management

  • Treasury and budgeting functions

  • Cash forecasting and revenue variance analysis

  • Capital assets reconciliations and trust account statement reconciliations

  • Check runs and fixed asset activity

  • Debt activity and monitoring

  • Providing financial reports and statements to stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and proven working experience as an Accounting Manager or Finance Manager. They should possess advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases, as well as the ability to manipulate large amounts of data.

The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles, coordinating annual audits, providing recommendations, improving systems and procedures, assigning projects, and directing staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy

  • Proven working experience as Accounting Manager or Finance Manager

  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases

  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
