Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven professional to support key financial functions across accounts payable, banking, and cash reconciliation. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving processes.

About the Role:

This position involves managing the final stage of invoice processing, ensuring accurate coding of Cost of Goods Sold and timely posting of invoices. The ideal candidate will collaborate with venue leaders to maintain consistent workflows and reduce end-of-month bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily bank reconciliations using Microsoft Business Central, ensuring accuracy and completeness of transactions and strict compliance with internal controls and reconciliation standards.
  • Monitor and validate daily cash schedules from venues, ensuring EON reports are completed accurately and coded to the correct general ledger accounts.
  • Support various finance-related tasks as needed, including data entry, reporting, and assisting with client-specific requests.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA qualification is a plus but not required).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping and reconciliations.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central and Xero.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
