Job Overview

This role involves a strategic analysis of client content marketing strategies and the development or optimization of new strategies for their Japan website, aligning with corporate and regional marketing goals. The job entails providing guidance on content creation, curation, and publishing, as well as writing, editing, and localizing high-quality Japanese-language copy for web pages, campaigns, and digital assets.

Content Management & Operations

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for mapping content components to digital templates within the client's Content Management System (CMS), ensuring seamless integration and optimal user experience.
  • They will partner with design, UX, and development teams to optimize content structure for readability and engagement, supporting SEO optimization and accessibility compliance for Japanese content.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • The successful candidate will work closely with marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory teams to review and approve content, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  • They will also coordinate with global content strategists to ensure consistency across all client touchpoints.

Requirements

  • Mandatory skills include proficiency in Japanese and English, as well as good understanding of copy manuscripts and component mapping in Japanese.
  • Prior experience in medical content and CMS is highly desirable.
  • The ideal candidate must be open to a 6-month employment contract and preferably have immediate availability.

Work Schedule

The selected candidate will have regular working hours in Japan timezone and overlap with the US timezone once a week for stand-up meetings.
