**Job Title:** Digital Building Integration Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Digital Building Integration Engineer to join our team. As a Digital Building Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that clients and partners receive high-quality fault detection and diagnostics services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete onboarding projects and communicate timelines and milestones to ensure analytics fulfills its role in a timely manner at a high level of quality.
  • Conduct onboarding activities such as installing Data Collection Services, discovering data, and organizing for Digital Building Engineers.
  • Troubleshoot Diagnostics to perform automated fault detection on customer's HVAC equipment.
  • Review findings and validate results reported by software.
  • Train and engage customer and partner users specific to Data Transfer Service, data connectivity, and related networking issues.

Requirements:

  • Confident, self-motivated, and comfortable quickly grasping new technologies.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers and partners.
  • Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree or 5–6 years related industry experience.
  • 1–2 years hands-on experience in HVAC, controls, or fault detection and diagnostics.
  • Exposure to BAS protocols such as BACnet, Haystack, oBIX, and Modbus.
  • Exposure to BAS networking principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ideally, exposure to automated ongoing commissioning, fault detection and diagnostics, performance measurement and verification.
  • Ideally, exposure to metadata applications such as use of tags and standards, e.g., Project Haystack.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in mechanical engineering (or a related technical degree) and an interest in building systems.
  • Significant field experience in a controls or services company serving the buildings industry.
  • Certificate or equivalent experience in basic networking or computer fundamentals.
