MEP Drafter (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Drafter to assist in creating accurate and detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP. This role requires technical drafting abilities, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems knowledge for construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive MEP shop drawings based on project specifications
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure designs meet industry standards and requirements
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP for drafting and design tasks
  • Interpret architectural and engineering plans to integrate MEP systems effectively
  • Review drawings to ensure compliance with local building codes and project specifications
  • Adjust and revise drafts based on client feedback and project updates
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP is essential
  • Experience in MEP drafting is required
  • Understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
