We're seeking a seasoned QA Engineer with a passion for SaaS products and APIs to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our development process, you'll ensure the reliability and security of our next-generation applications.
Responsibilities- Develop Test Strategies: Collaborate with our development teams to create comprehensive test plans and test cases that meet high standards for functionality, security, and performance.
- Automate Testing Workflows: Utilize cutting-edge tools like Cypress and Reflect.Run to automate integration and end-to-end testing, integrating these processes into our CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions.
- API Testing: Design and execute thorough tests for APIs to guarantee they meet performance and security benchmarks, utilizing tools like Postman for rigorous validation.
- Security and Load Testing: Conduct security assessments and performance testing of our SaaS products to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure scalability.
- Collaborative Development: Work closely with our development teams to understand the architecture of our Next.js and TypeScript applications, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality deliverables.
- Community Engagement: Engage with the crypto community to gather valuable feedback and insights, leveraging this information to drive continuous product improvement.
- User Experience Testing: Leverage tools like Maze and Lookback to conduct usability testing and gather user feedback, enhancing the overall user experience.
- Feature Management and Experimentation: Implement feature flagging and A/B testing using Split.io to manage feature releases and conduct experiments, monitoring the impact of new features.
- Proven QA Experience: Demonstrated expertise as a QA Engineer, preferably within the SaaS or crypto space, with a strong focus on web applications and APIs.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern testing frameworks. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Crypto Enthusiast: Deep knowledge of the cryptocurrency landscape and active involvement in the crypto community. A self-identified 'crypto connoisseur' with a keen interest in crypto projects and trends.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Effective Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
