This role is a key contributor in the design and implementation of business information systems, focusing on Global Commodity Management and Supply Chain functions. The successful candidate will update and maintain SAP S4/HANA systems, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions to enhance company workflow, production efficiency, and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysis and Solution Development:
    • Update and maintain SAP S4/HANA data, including Vendor Master, PIR, Source List, and Quota Arrangement, as directed by Global Commodity Management.
    • Identify system strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas for improvement through automation and mass update methods.
    • Analyze work samples and methods; measure work performance; workflow, and work methods; develop new procedures.
    • Understand various dataset tables in SAP and how they interact for speed and problem-solving.
    • Assist user communities in analyzing and defining needs; create detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
    • Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
    • Develop functional specifications and system design specifications.
  • Technical Recommendation and Testing:
    • Oversee testing and implementation of new functionality affecting business software applications, including ERP and PLM master data.
    • Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner.
    • Work with affected personnel to identify required changes and communicate necessary changes to development teams.
  • Project Execution:
    • Assist in enforcing project deadlines and schedules.
    • Take input from supervisors and apply comments/feedback accurately.
    • Communicate and apply project standards, manage resources according to project schedules.
    • Deliver high-quality services to internal customers consistently.
    • Understand components of running a fiscally successful project.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in business or computer information systems or equivalent education and experience.
    • Minimum three to five years of production planning, material management, or configuration management experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
    • Minimum two years of experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
    • Proven project management skills (independent management of projects from beginning to completion).
    Technical Skills:
    • Understanding of relational databases.
    • Experience with ERP systems, mainly SAP S4/HANA.
    • Knowledge of software programs (e.g., MS Office, SAP, Adobe Acrobat).
    • Knowledge of industry standards relevant to ECOs, product assembly guidelines, product testing procedures, and electrical circuits.
    • Ability to envision appropriate information architecture and document organization for various projects.
    • Ability to gather and organize information from various sources and individuals.
    • Ability to quickly grasp advanced technological concepts and translate them for appropriate audiences.
