Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Strategist to lead our project planning function on allocated projects/tenders. This role is accountable for ensuring that projects/tenders are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored.

Main Responsibilities
  • Leverage expertise in specific planning/scheduling methods, techniques, and tools to drive project success.
  • Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and align other breakdown structures to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Create WBS dictionaries to support Baseline books and inform project stakeholders.
  • Analyze complex requirements, communicate findings, and implement corrective measures to drive project efficiency.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and utilize numerical and statistical techniques to analyze trends and create plans.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals delivering project management services, focusing on staff development and growth.
  • Produce and control cost- and resource-loaded baselines and current schedules, utilizing approved work breakdown structures and techniques.
  • Maintain adherence to scheduling and project control standards across the project.
  • Oversee schedule updates and ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with project teams as needed.
  • Support the production of monthly reports by providing intelligent information and analysis.
  • Generate performance indicators and provide feedback on areas of risk and opportunity.
  • Incorporate schedules from contractors and suppliers into project plans.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders to facilitate project execution and stakeholder engagement.
  • Liaise with other departments and promote project values.
  • Provide ad hoc support to develop the capability of the project team using knowledge from wider experience.
