Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Helper to join our team at Collins International Trading Corporation. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials within our warehouses.

About You

The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment, with a strong focus on safety procedures. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, performing basic data entry tasks, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move materials within warehouses or from warehouse to staging areas for shipping.
• Follow strict safety procedures to ensure the safety of coworkers and prevent accidents.
• Perform basic data entry tasks such as scanning bar codes on boxes or other inventory items using a computer system.
• Load and unload trucks or shipping containers with items that need to be shipped to another location.
• Load, unload, and move materials, equipment, and supplies in a warehouse environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment to store or retrieve products or materials such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or shelving units.
• Ensure that all warehouse orders are filled accurately and in a timely manner.
• Stock shelves with new inventory items or remove old inventory items as needed.
• Maintain an accurate record of inventory by scanning bar codes on products or recording item details manually.
• Organize and store materials in warehouses to keep them safe and easily accessible.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or material-handling environment.
• Prior experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment is required.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
• Basic data entry skills and knowledge of computer systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
