Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team at Thinking Machines Data Science. As a key member of our infrastructure and security teams, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure for our client projects.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging projects, from developing AI-based software applications to implementing CI/CD pipelines and contributing to the infrastructure that runs our applications. You will also be consulted on the design of our solutions for client projects.

We are looking for candidates who have strong engineering fundamentals, a passion for security, and experience implementing solution architectures in cloud environments. If you have a strong background in DevOps, a willingness to upskill in security, and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role in a cloud environment
  • Strong engineering fundamentals with an interest and willingness to upskill in security
  • Experience implementing Solution Architectures
  • Experience in CI/CD, such as Github Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
  • Experience in Terraform and any one of these cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Strong knowledge or foundations in Web Application and API Development
  • Strong external communication skills to effectively communicate technical solutions to teammates and clients
  • Experience working with any SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch)
