Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Risk Management Analyst to join our team at KLM Careers.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work as an Embedded Risk Manager, evaluating inherent risk and control environments across HR functions and the enterprise level.

As a trusted partner and advisor, you will provide proactive oversight, governance, and monitoring of regulatory and internal control requirements, ensuring compliance with those requirements.

Responsibilities
  • HR Management Control Testing Framework: Assist in implementing control testing frameworks to strengthen HR's internal controls and identify potential weaknesses.
  • Embedded Risk Management: Develop controls standards and requirements within HR, evaluating inherent risk and control environments of each function, and assessing impacts on the enterprise level.
  • Process, Risk & Control (PRC) Inventory: Expand and validate the PRC inventory to ensure accuracy and completeness, aligning it with relevant rules and laws.
  • Audit and Regulatory Engagement: Coordinate audit and regulatory inquiries, maintaining and assuring the quality of information provided for exams and audits.
  • Incident Management: Support timely submission of incidents according to internal requirements.
  • Policy and Procedure Management: Coordinate a review of HR policies and procedures.
  • Data Analytics and Reporting: Assist with ad-hoc projects and periodic reporting.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience. Certifications related to your coverage responsibilities, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), are beneficial but not required.

You should also be flexible to work EMEA hours and have experience in audit, risk management, or compliance. Additionally, you should have experience analyzing processes and regulatory requirements, identifying risks, communicating exceptions, and developing controls, preferably in the financial services industry.

Automated control testing experience is ideal but not required. You should be proficient in Excel or other data analytic tools. Finally, you must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
