Financial Planning and Analysis Role

We are seeking a highly skilled financial planning and analysis professional with a strong foundation in accounting and a proven track record in hands-on transactional bookkeeping. This role is ideal for someone who can seamlessly operate across both high-level financial analysis and day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strategic insight with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including month-end and year-end close
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting
  • Perform hands-on transactional bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to support strategic decision-making
  • Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and forecast trends to inform operational planning
  • Assist in developing financial models, dashboards, and tools to drive business insights
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial planning initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working as an FP&A Analyst, with a strong understanding of both strategic financial planning and day-to-day accounting operations
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting
  • Advanced, hands-on proficiency in QuickBooks (non-negotiable)
  • Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
  • Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
  • Fully fluent in English
  • Ability to work U.S. business hours (Pacific Time, Central Time, or Eastern Time)
