What We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly skilled Direct Billing Staff to join our team. As a key member of our direct billing operations, you will be responsible for assisting in the direct billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting the team in improving efficiency and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and support the direct billing team in daily operations.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Assist in the direct billing process, ensuring revenue is recorded accurately.
  • Follow standardized procedures and guidelines for direct billing activities.
  • Support the transition of Cash Receipts/Direct bill reconciliation into Epic for acquired entities.
  • Provide support to internal teams and external clients regarding direct billing practices.
  • Assist in gathering requirements and addressing concerns to optimize billing processes.
  • Assist in the analysis of direct billing data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Help generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into direct billing performance.
  • Assist in evaluating existing direct billing processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the implementation of process enhancements to drive operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance billing or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance policies, premiums, and billing procedures.
  • Proficient in using billing software and tools, with a basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze billing data accurately.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines, with attention to detail.
  • Experience working with US/offshore clients.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude and sense of humor.
