Job Title: Jewelry Production Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced leader to oversee the end-to-end manufacturing and production process of fine or fashion jewelry.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily production operations, ensuring quality control and timely order fulfillment across multiple product lines.
  • Manage production schedules, allocate workloads, and track progress across internal teams and external manufacturers to meet business objectives.
  • Coordinate with designers, CAD teams, bench jewelers, casters, and stone setters to bring designs to life through effective project management and communication skills.
  • Source and manage relationships with material suppliers and subcontractors (casting, polishing, plating, etc.) to ensure timely delivery and quality materials.
  • Maintain detailed production documentation including BOMs (Bill of Materials), cost sheets, and timelines to inform strategic decisions and optimize efficiency.
  • Implement and enforce quality control standards across all stages of production to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Forecast inventory needs and ensure all necessary materials (metals, stones, findings) are procured on time to prevent stockouts and minimize delays.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, minimize delays, and optimize efficiency and cost through data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with sales, merchandising, and logistics teams to align production with customer demand and seasonal launches to maximize revenue growth.
  • Maintain compliance with ethical and sustainability standards in materials and labor to ensure a responsible and accountable supply chain.
