Job Description

A FP&A Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of financial planning and analysis, delivering financial reporting and forecasts, and ensuring accounting data flows accurately through systems.

This strategic role involves turning data into insight, partnering closely with leadership, and directly supporting decision-making and operational excellence across various business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Develop monthly financial reports with variance analysis against budget/forecast to provide actionable insights.
  • Build and maintain operating models and dashboards (Excel and Power BI) to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate the financial impact of initiatives and make informed decisions.
Accounting Support
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end close in NetSuite, collaborating with accounting staff to achieve this goal.
  • Review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations to identify and address any discrepancies.
  • Help optimize NetSuite structure and reporting hierarchies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist with setup and mapping of new accounts or departments to streamline accounting processes.
Operational Finance
  • Support cash flow forecasting and treasury planning to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
  • Track headcount, utilization, and financial KPIs to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial models to support pricing, hiring, or strategic decisions.
Reporting & Audit Support
  • Maintain internal reporting packages for leadership and investors, providing them with accurate and timely financial information.
  • Provide financial data and analysis for external audits or tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls, maintaining a strong control environment.
