Interior Design Draftsman Job Description

RemoteVA is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Interior Design Draftsman to deliver exceptional results in a dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in Design Software: Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp to create detailed spec sheets and plans.
  • Experience with RCP Plans: Develop reflected ceiling plans (RCPs) detailing the ceiling elements of a design.
  • Furniture Planning Skills: Create comprehensive furniture plans, including layouts and specifications.
  • Wall Decoration and Detailing: Design wall decorations and provide detailed sections and elevations.
  • Knowledge of Schedules: Generate schedules listing the quantities, finishes, and other attributes of design elements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
  • Proven experience drafting reflected ceiling plans (RCPs)
  • Ability to create detailed and comprehensive furniture plans
  • Strong skills in wall decoration and detailing
  • Capability to create accurate and detailed schedules
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
