About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Onshore Wind Project Lead to oversee a prominent onshore wind project in the Central Visayas region. This contract position offers a competitive daily rate for a qualified professional capable of managing the complexities of renewable energy projects.

Role Overview

As an Onshore Wind Project Lead, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of onshore wind projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and according to project specifications. Your expertise will guide the project from initiation through to successful completion.

Main Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.

  • Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.

  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

  • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools.

  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience managing onshore wind projects with a thorough understanding of project management processes and methodologies.

  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Experience in negotiating with and managing project contractors and service providers.

  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively.

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.

  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.

  • Fluent English language skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Benefits

  • $600 day rate.

  • 12-month contract, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and project requirements.

  • Position requires presence in the Central Visayas region.
