Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support our internal training and documentation efforts. This role will be responsible for developing and designing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) trainings for new and existing employees, managing our training management system, and creating engaging learning content that drives clarity, consistency, and compliance across our team.

This position will involve collaborating with internal subject matter experts to develop and document SOPs, designing engaging and interactive SOP-based training materials, and creating knowledge checks, quizzes, and tests to reinforce understanding.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing training content, SOPs, or e-learning materials and be proficient in screen recording and video editing software. They will also have strong writing and instructional design skills, as well as excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and version control.

We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and evolving company systems, and has strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

Requirements
  • Education & Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience designing training content, SOPs, or e-learning materials
    • Proven experience creating training videos, interactive tests, and employee learning modules
    • Experience with training management systems (e.g., Trainual, Lessonly, TalentLMS, WorkRamp)
  • Skills & Tools:
    • Proficient in screen recording and video editing software (e.g., Loom, Camtasia, Snagit)
    • Strong writing and instructional design skills
    • Familiarity with visual design tools (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe Express)
  • Other Requirements:
    • Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background: HR, operations, or administration within a construction, contracting, or field-based service industry
  • Experience: Creating SOPs for software tools like Spectrum, Traqspera, or ProjectSight
