Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst to support our People Success team. You will focus on data preparation, reporting, dashboard upkeep, and quality checks to transform people data into clear, reliable insights for HR and business partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis: Prepare and refresh recurring people metrics (headcount, attrition/retention, tenure, internal moves, compensation) on monthly/quarterly cadences.
  • Database Management: Validate and clean datasets from HR systems (HRIS, ATS, payroll providers). Run data quality checks, flag anomalies, and document fixes.
  • Dashboard Development: Update and QA existing dashboards, ensure filters and definitions work as intended, and make layout/content tweaks as directed.
  • Ad-Hoc Research: Pull extracts and run basic analyses (pivots, lookups, simple SQL queries) to support data analysis and investigations.
  • Documentation: Maintain data processing notes so logic is traceable and repeatable.
  • Security Compliance: Handle sensitive employee data responsibly, follow access controls, and support compliance with data-privacy requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and propose improvements that enhance our produced insights.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1–2 years of experience in data/analytics, HR reporting, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivots, lookups, nested formulas).
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) is a plus.
  • Experience with HR data, especially from HRIS/ATS/payroll platforms would be beneficial.
  • An analytical and data driven mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and follow-through.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
