Project Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drafter to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on major land infrastructure projects in the SAVI region in Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed design drawings for various land infrastructure projects, including subdivisions, roadways, drainage, water and sewer reticulation, earthworks, electrical and communication assets.

  • Design and Drafting: Prepare and review detailed design drawings, plans, and specifications for land infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure designs are compliant with relevant Australian standards, regulations and industry guidelines.
  • Review and Feedback: Participate in design and drafting reviews to ensure quality standards are achieved.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of technical skill and expertise. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Australian standards and regulations, as well as experience working with AutoCAD and other relevant software.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in land infrastructure drafting.
  • Skills: Strong experience in documentation of land subdivisions, including earthworks, roads, pavements, car parks, signs and line marking, drainage and utilities.
  • Software: Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software (e.g. Bluebeam, MicroStation).
  • Communication: Good communication skills.
