Civil Infrastructure Drafter

We're looking for an experienced civil drafter who can bring their skills and expertise to our team. As a civil drafter, you will be responsible for interpreting technical details, expanding drawings, sketches, specifications, and calculations made by engineers and designers.
This role requires strong experience in land infrastructure drafting, including earthworks, roads, pavement, car parks, signs and line marking, drainage, and utilities. Proficiency in AutoCAD is also essential, along with good communication skills and knowledge or experience in content engines.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years' experience in land infrastructure drafting, as well as a strong understanding of New Zealand (or Australia) standards and regulations. They should also possess good information management skills and be familiar with various software applications such as Civil3D, 12d, Bluebeam, MicroStation, etc.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret and expand technical details using drawings, sketches, specifications, and calculations made by engineers and designers.
- Use intermediate to advanced 2D drafting (CAD) or 3D modelling techniques.
- Demonstrate expertise in area of civil Land and Water and Transport drafting.
- Apply broader knowledge of quality and safety standards to complete the design.
- Promote new and emerging technologies and ways of working, as part of our digital futures platform.
- Identify and organize effectively to complete tasks, considering cost, quality, and safety.

You will also need to have a deep understanding of civil infrastructure drafting, including land subdivision work, and be proficient in relevant software applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience in land infrastructure drafting, including earthworks, roads, pavement, car parks, signs and line marking, drainage, and utilities.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software applications.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge or experience in content engines, such as ProjectWise, ACC, and Synergy.
