You will design workflows, layouts, and processes to boost productivity in poultry operations. Additionally, you will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to assess operational performance. To achieve this, you will conduct time and motion studies to establish standards and benchmarks.
A critical aspect of this role is assessing production capacity and aligning resources to meet demand. You will also optimize labor, materials, and equipment utilization in poultry processing and farming operations. Furthermore, you will develop contingency plans to address operational challenges and lead process improvement projects from initiation to implementation.
As a leader, you will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget. You must guarantee that all processes comply with industry regulations, food safety standards, and company policies. Collaboration with safety teams is essential to implement ergonomic and safe work practices. Finally, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role, preferably in the poultry or food manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning software.
- Strong ability to analyze complex processes and develop effective solutions.
- Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Highly flexible or be deployed across organizations.
- Very mobile or can travel anywhere in the country at any time.
- Frugal and innovative.
- Excellent health and physicality.
